General Thoughts

I gotta say, the Prince Response Graphite Pickleball Paddle is one of my all-time favorites! I love the light weight, which allows me to move around the court quickly and easily. The graphite face is great for adding spin and power to shots while the textured surface gives me great control. It's not too bulky, and I can really feel the ball when I hit it. Plus, the grip feels comfortable in my hand, and it's easy to keep a good grip on the paddle. Even after playing for hours, my hand and arm don't get tired. The paddle also has great power behind it. I can really put some force behind my shots and give my opponents something to worry about. The response is also great - it's easy to react quickly when I need to and make adjustments on the fly. Overall, I'm really happy with the Prince Response Graphite Pickleball Paddle. It's got everything I need for a great pickleball experience - power, control, speed, and comfort. Highly recommended!

Paddle Design

The design of the Prince Response Graphite Pickleball Paddle is simply superb. It has a sleek, stylish look that makes it stand out on the court. The graphite face gives the paddle an unmistakable shine and the textured surface provides extra spin and control. What's more, the light weight makes it easy to maneuver around quickly, and the grip feels great in my hand. The handle is also long enough to allow for a good reach, which is important for being able to reach shots from far away. The specs of this paddle are impressive too. It's 7-3/8” long with a 4-3/8” grip and weighs only 6.9 ounces - perfect for fast-paced play. The core is made from polypropylene honeycomb with an edge guard made from tough ABS plastic, making it durable and able to withstand vigorous use without any issues. One minor criticism I have about this paddle is that it could be a bit longer in length as I would prefer something closer to 8” or even 8-1/2". Other than that though, I really can't fault this paddle - it looks great, performs well, and offers plenty of power and control when playing pickleball!

Attacking Play

I was blown away by how great the Prince Response Graphite Pickleball Paddle worked for attacking play. This paddle really allowed me to take my game to the next level. When I hit serves, I was able to hit with plenty of power and spin, which really gave opponents trouble. And it was also great for volleys. I was able to slice through the air and get my shots where I wanted them without compromising control or precision. And when I wanted to go for more offensive shots like power slams or drives, I had the control and power I needed to make them effective. The pockets weren't too big, either, so there was no risk of me hitting the ball out by mistake. Even after long rallies and powerful plays, I still had the energy to keep up with the game because the paddle was so light. The graphite face also helped me put a lot of spin on my shots to change up the angle and keep my opponent on their toes.The only thing I didn't like was that the paddle was a bit short in length, meaning I had to reach a bit more to reach shots away from my body. Besides that though, I've been really happy with the Prince Response Graphite Pickleball Paddle for attacking play and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their game.

Control Play

I was also impressed with the Prince Response Graphite Pickleball Paddle's performance in control play. When I needed to keep a rally going, the paddle was great at absorbing shots and sending them right back. I could easily keep my opponent on their toes with controlled touch plays and hit drop shots that were accurate and precise. The paddle also had good defensive capabilities, allowing me to block away powerful shots while still maintaining control over the ball. The only issue I had was that the handle was a bit too stiff for my liking, making it uncomfortable after long games. But aside from that, I found it extremely easy to maneuver around the court with this paddle in control play situations. It enabled me to make quick adjustments when needed and put spin on my returns for added accuracy. Overall, the Prince Response Graphite Pickleball Paddle really helped me up my game in both attacking and control play scenarios and is definitely worth looking into if you're looking for an upgrade!
